  • Happy to have had the opportunity to purchase this product at a better price! (2009-06-29)

I am so happy to have had the opportunity to purchase Microsoft Office Professional at such a discounted price. The regular price is ridiculous and I hated paying so much for it but I really wanted this. When I saw the price, I just couldn't turn it down. And, as promised, it was new and in the original and sealed box and was not OEM or a download. Thanks!

  • Microsoft in the Limelight reviewed by dhezza (2008-11-21)

"Microsoft Office Professional 2007 " is another success from the Microsoft company. The Interface and quality of the Microsoft Office 2007 is really good and easy to understand. Though I must admit that I was so naive when I first used it. The organized interface really helped a lot in giving me an idea on how to use it. Our school requires that we should use Microsoft Office Professional 2007. As a student under computer studies I should learn how to easily adopt the upgrades in technology. This software is…

If you are someone who like the best of everything Microsof Office Professional 2007 is the thing you need. Its Microsoft logo at the top-left corner is a bit distracting . The visual is clear. Not all the application recieve an appearence overhaul though. The tabs are neatly arranged in the Microsoft Word. Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint had also had full change. All in all this is one of the lesser mistakes of…

  • The best!! reviewed by stiffy249 (2007-12-02)

At last Microsoft have made significant `internal' improvements to their office package as well as changed the look of it. This is both good and bad. On the plus side there are a lot of new things - Word gets to behave even more like a desk top publishing package with `flash-like' zooming, 3D effects and other nice features. There are more templates, fonts , and handy things like the floating `ghost' tool bar that appears if you leave your pointer over text - saves highlighting then going…

I've been using Microsoft Office for about 7 years. My opinion about Microsoft Office? It's so user friendly. Very easy to use. I bet that many of you have the same experience. Last year, I heard about Microsoft Office 2007 Professional. I tried it. The first time I used it, I was shocked. The layout made me a little confused. Almost completely different from the previous versions. I icon bars that I used to see in previous versions are gone. Well... not completely gone. Just re-organized using what ribbons . A drop down menu…

New file format that is also produced for a rather inelegant not. How the Office 2007 this does not appear so similar to the preceding. Because it also includes the Office 2007 applications that reap most of the pro and contra between users and prospective users. This upgrade does not appear to be intended for all users. Microsoft Office 2007 is the development of Microsoft Office 2003 that tested the ability and reliability to its application as the office does not have both of them. Office 2007 look beyond the allegations seriously, in this newest version of Microsoft merobak total and does not look a bit behind the Office of the previous version. Almost all the looks do not reflect the full Microsoft Office with the menus and sub menus making. Indeed, the commandments of the…

Twenty minutes ago, a senior engineer with advanced degrees and 18 years experience with Microsoft office came to me and asked, "How do you draw a line in Office 2007?" This seemed like a strange question, since I knew that this individual had been drawing lines in Office for a decade or more. I went to MIT, and have been using Office since before it was Office, starting with Word in 1986, so I was confident that between the two of us we'd figure it out. Wrong! The engineer wanted to draw a line between two objects. He did NOT…

  • Good service from supplier. Product hard to access (2009-06-26)

I was very satisfied with the supplier. Contact and delivery information were excellent and the product arrived in the time promised. However, it was very difficult working with Office 2007 and I actually had to contact my computer's manufacturer to assist with getting the software uploaded onto my desktop. I have not yet had the time needed to seek similar assistance from my laptop's maker. Excellent service from the supplier, but maybe the Microsoft corporation is too big...

  • I like it rather well so far... (2009-06-18)

    >Word: The availability of features through tabs is a bit different, but I'm not finding any difficulties finding what I need. Now that I'm getting used to it, I rather like it.>Excel: Imported old spreadsheets and charts fom ms excel 2003 with no problem. Everything I've run so far works great.>Outlook: Got my imap connection to my google account working with no worries. Kind of cool, actually, my update / deletes on Outlook on the client take effect in real time on the Google server. >Install: Here I had a problem with disk 2 install due to a persistent error reported for MS sql server. I uninstalled sql server and tried jumping through hoops I found on the web. No joy. I forgot about it since the main programs I needed installed OK... but a few days later when I loaded MS visual studio express I noticed that it, too, had a MS sql server install, and that it installed OK. So, I figured, what the heck, I'll try that disk 2 install again and see if it gets past the MS sql server error. Hello! Successful install. That was bit of a journey in the wilderness, for which I deduct a star.>system note: I'm running xp sp3.

This is a great product if you ignore the price. If you are a new or existing user of the Office series by Microsoft, then this is great! Everything is so easy to do. Things like mail merges, and referencing objects used to be hidden in menus in the old office programs, however, it is all clearly laid out now! The only thing is that the price is so ridiculously expensive - try open office or get the student edition - there is no student validation require…

Replacements for Microsoft Office Having spent thousands of pounds on microsoft software over the years i was over the moon to find a alternative at a fraction of the cost and that is 100% compatable. Microsoft sells a wide range of products, from games and hardware to development tools and operating systems . But nearly one third of the company's multi-billion dollar quarterly profit can be credited to a single product line, Office. Office is a "productivity suite" bundling several separate…

I was very disappointed with the product and service from Brainstorm Co. I ordered a new copy of the software and when received it did not appear to be new at all. More importantly, the software was not able to be downloaded into a computer after several attempts.I also did not get an acceptable response for return of software to Brainstorm Co. I did receive an email that said I would receive a return address label the next day but was not ever received after 8 days.I have since filed a claim through Amazon and if that works as planned I will be pleased with AmazonJohn Gabrenas Jr.

  • They hid my stuff! (2009-06-12)

I've used Microsoft Office every day at work for the last 8 years. While I had some problems with bugs and usability, they were minor and I was able to work rather efficiently. I installed Office 2007 and was immediately pleased with the appearance and even the concept of the ribbon. However, I quickly realized with a sinking feeling that virtually every feature and command that I was familiar with has been moved! Now anything I try to do involves minutes of searching for a command that used to be right at my fingertips. I'd consider this an acceptable learning curve, except that most features seem to have been buried deep in some illogical place where I'd never think to look. I used to be able to whip out graphs in Excel in my sleep; now I can't even figure out basic formatting features. I had the same experience as one other reviewer who noted that after 20+ years of using Word, he couldn't even figure out how to draw a line in Word anymore! As if this weren't bad enough, Office is shockingly uncustomizable. Want to create short cuts for your favorite features? Want to hide features you never use? Tough luck! Want an option to revert to "classic mode"? In your dreams!Office 2007 offers little in the way of new functionality or improved features, but it does scatter all the features that you used in previous versions and leaves you to figure out where they landed. It seems more like a prank than an upgrade.
